The 4th Zinnowitz International Tennis Tournament took place from June 29th to July 6th, 1958 in the Baltic resort of Zinnowitz .

It was again explicitly declared as a youth tournament. The three-time winner was the Hungarian András Szikszay , who was successful in men's doubles with his compatriot Ferenc Zentai and in mixed with his compatriot Zsófia Broszmann . The women's singles title also went to Hungary and was won by Klára Bardóczy . The two Czechoslovakians Zdena Strachová and Jana Volková were successful in women's doubles, the latter having won this title as early as 1956 under her maiden name Dvořáčková.

Eva Johannes had also got married in the meantime , as the defending champion in women's singles she reached the final again. The defending champion in the men’s Horst Stahlberg was eliminated in the semifinals against András Szikszay. The West German Horst Kissel was also in the semi-finals, but before the victory he canceled the game because he wanted to play an important game with his club team on the final day.
