Jakymiwka (Ukrainian Якимівка ; Russian Акимовка / Akimowka ) is an urban-type settlement in Zaporizhia Oblast in south-central Ukraine . It is the administrative center of Jakymiwka Raion and is located on the Malyj Utljuk River (Малий Утлюк).
The place was mentioned for the first time in 1833 and has had the status of an urban-type settlement since 1957.
In 1874 a train station was opened south of the town center on what is now the Sevastopol – Kharkiv railway line.
