Komyschuwacha ( Ukrainian Комишуваха ; Russian Камышеваха Kamyshevacha ) is an urban-type settlement in the south of the Ukrainian Oblast of Zaporizhia with about 5300 inhabitants (2014).

Komyschuwacha is located in Orichiw district on the Kinska , a 146 km long tributary of the Dnieper . Orichiv district center is 29 km southwest and Zaporizhia oblast center is 33 km northwest of Komyschuwacha. Territorial road T-08-03 runs through the village . Komyschuwacha has a train station on the Zaporizhia – Polohy railway line .

The village, founded in 1770, is the center of the settlement council of the same name and received the status of an urban-type settlement in 1957. The Komyschuwacha settlement council also includes the villages of Hryhorivske ( Григорівське ) with about 160 inhabitants and Odariwka ( Одарівка ) with about 200 inhabitants.

Komyschuwacha is the birthplace of Ivan Hruschezkyj (1904-1982), a Ukrainian-Soviet politician who was chairman of the Supreme Soviet of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic from 1972 to 1976 .
