Yevgeni Lisovets ( Belarusian Яўген Сяргеевіч Лісавец ; Russian Евгений Сергеевич Лисовец / Yevgeny Sergeyevich Lissowez; born November 12, 1994 Hrodna ) is a Belarusian ice hockey player who since May 2019 in Salavat Yulaev Ufa in the Continental Hockey League is under contract.
Career
club
Jauhen Lissawez began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of HK Nyoman Hrodna , for whose second men's team he was active in the second division of Belarus from 2009 to 2011 . In 2011 he moved to Dinamo-Schinnik Babrujsk, a junior team from the Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja League , before returning to his home club for the following season and playing for its professional team in the Belarusian extra league. In September 2013 he completed a trial training at HK Dinamo Minsk from the Continental Hockey League and received a one-year contract. He then made his debut in the KHL, but was mainly used by HK Njoman Hrodna, who at that time was the Dinamo farm team.
In May 2014, his contract with Dinamo Minsk was extended by two years. Since the beginning of the 2014/15 season he has been a member of Dinamo Minsk's regular squad. In 2017 he was voted Player of the Year in Belarus. After completing his statistically best season in the 2018/19 season, he moved to Salawat Julajew Ufa in May 2019 .
International
For Belarus, Lissawez took part in the junior division of the U18 World Junior Championships in Division I in 2011 and 2012 . In the latter tournament he made it with the U18 national team from the B to the A group of Division I and was chosen as the best defender with the best plus / minus balance of the tournament. In the U20 division, he completed the U20 Junior World Championship in Division I in 2012 , 2013 and 2014 . He took second place twice and third place once with the U20 national team . In addition, he was the best defender with four points at the 2014 tournament.
In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad for the first time at the 2015 World Cup . Also in 2016 and 2017 he took part in the World Cup with the Belarusian selection . He also represented his colors in the Olympic qualification for the Winter Games in Pyeongchang 2018 . At the 2019 World Cup in Division I, Group A , he made it to the top division with the national team.
