The Mission de Joliette ( English Joliette Mission ) were a Canadian ice hockey team from Joliette , Québec . The team played in the Québec Semi-Pro Hockey League from 1998 to 2002 .
history
The franchise of Blizzard de Saint-Gabriel from the Quebec Semi-Pro Hockey League was founded in 1998 by Saint-Gabriel resettled in Joliette and renamed Blizzard de Joliette. In the QSPHL, the team that changed its name to Mission de Joliette after two seasons was one of the most successful franchises in the four years of its existence. While she could win their division in 1999 and 2001, she finished seven in 2000 and fourth in 2002 after the regular season. In the playoffs for the Coupe Futura , the team was successful in the 1998/99 and 2000/01 seasons.
Following the 2001/02 season, the franchise was relocated to Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu , where it then took part in the Québec Semi-Pro Hockey League under the name Mission de Saint-Jean .
