Josué Humberto Gonçalves Leal de Sá or Josué Sá for short (born June 17, 1992 in Lisbon ) is a Portuguese football player .

Career

society

Josué Sá went through the junior departments Sporting Lisbon and Vitória Guimarães before starting his professional career with the latter in 2011. Here he was loaned to GD Chaves after his professional contract and then played for two years for the reserve team Vitória Guimarães'. In summer 2017 he moved to the Belgian club RSC Anderlecht . For the 2018/19 season Josué Sá was loaned to the Turkish first division club Kasımpaşa Istanbul .

After Sá was not in the matchday squad in the first five games of the 2019/20 season at RSC Anderlecht, a loan with a subsequent purchase option to the Spanish club SD Huesca in the Segunda División , the second highest league, was agreed for the rest of the season . He played 26 of 41 possible league games and one cup game for Huesca. The club rose to the top division at the end of the season. The purchase option was not exercised until the end of the season, so Sá initially returned to RSC Anderlecht.

National team

Josué Sá started his international career in 2010 with a mission for the Portuguese U-18 national team . He then went through all of Portugal's subsequent junior national teams up to the Portuguese U-21 national team .
