Justitia (lat. Justitia - Justice ) is a Lithuanian legal journal and eponymous publishing house in Vilnius .

history

Justitia was founded in 1989 in Vilnius and is the oldest legal specialist publisher and the oldest Lithuanian-language legal journal published by the publisher . The publisher publishes legal textbooks, monographs, learning materials and legal commentaries. The publishing director is Remigijus Jokubauskas. The publisher is located in Tilto g. 17 / Radvilų g. 4, LT-01101, Vilnius.

"Justitia" magazine

In 1989 the Lithuanian Lawyers Association ( Lietuvos teisininkų draugija , LTD) founded the magazine under the name “Justitia”. The magazine has been published since 1996, and from 2003 there is also a supplement entitled “Teisės žinios” ( Legal News ). The editorial board consists of V. Mikelėnas (chairman), T. Davulis, Gintaras Goda , D. Jočienė, Egidijus Vidmantas Kurapka , V. Mizaras, V. Nekrošius, S. Šedbaras, E. Šileikis, Gintaras Švedas and V. Valančius. Lawyer Algimantas Dziegoraitis (1939–2007) was also there until October 2007 . The editor of the newspaper “Justitia” was the former chairman of the Seimas , the lawyer Arūnas Valinskas . The responsible editors were the lawyers Darius Sauliūnas, Eglė Samuchovaitė, Jonas Sakalauskas, Vilma Gečaitė u. a.
