Kabelhorst is a municipality in the Ostholstein district in Schleswig-Holstein . Kabelhorst, Grünbek and Schwienkuhl are in the municipality.

Geography and traffic

The municipality is located about 3 km east of Lensahn and 5 km northwest of Cismar , which today belongs to the municipality of Grömitz .

The federal highway 1 runs from Neustadt in Holstein to Oldenburg in Holstein directly to the west of Kabelhorst, to the east the federal highway 501 runs from Neustadt in the direction of Fehmarn .
