The Canton Bischheim was 2015 a French constituency in the Arrondissement Strasbourg-Campagne in Bas-Rhin department in the region of Alsace .

history

The canton was founded on March 4, 1790 as part of the establishment of the départements as part of what was then the "Strasbourg district". With the establishment of the arrondissements on February 17, 1800, the canton was redesigned as part of what was then the arrondissement of Strasbourg. From 1871 to 1919 there was no further subdivision of what was then the "District of Strasbourg (Land)". On June 28, 1919, the canton became part of the new arrondissement of Strasbourg-Campagne. On March 22, 2015, the canton was dissolved.

The canton bordered the canton of Mundolsheim in the north and the canton of Schiltigheim in the south .
