Canton of Rosheim
The canton of Rosheim was 2015 a French constituency in Arrondissement of Molsheim in the Bas-Rhin in the region Alsace .
history
The canton was founded on March 4, 1790 as part of the establishment of the départements as part of what was then the "Schlettstadt District". With the founding of the arrondissements on February 17, 1800, the canton was redesigned as part of what was then the Barr (from February 10, 1806 Schlettstadt). From 1871 to 1919 there was no further subdivision of the "Molsheim district" at that time. On June 28, 1919, the canton became part of the newly founded arrondissement of Molsheim. On March 22, 2015, the canton was dissolved. All municipalities now belong to the canton of Molsheim .

The canton bordered the canton of Molsheim in the north, the canton Geispolsheim in the arrondissement Strasbourg-Campagne in the east, the cantons Obernai and Barr in the arrondissement Sélestat-Erstein in the south and the canton Schirmeck in the west .
