The canton Rochechouart is a French canton in the Arrondissement Rochechouart in the Haute-Vienne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine ; its main town is Rochechouart . Michel Fages ( PS ) has been a representative in the General Council of the Département since 2008 .

Until 2015, the canton consisted of the six municipalities of Chéronnac , Rochechouart (capital), Les Salles-Lavauguyon , Saint-Cyr , Vayres and Videix and had an area of 139.86 km². Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 8722.
