Karl Darlow (born October 8, 1990 in Northampton ) is an English football player who has been under contract with the English Premier League club Newcastle United since 2014 .
Player career
Nottingham Forest
Karl Darlow, who comes from his own youth academy, made his debut for Nottingham Forest in the 2010/11 Football League Championship on May 7, 2011 .
On March 8, 2012 moved behind Lee Camp and Paul Smith only as the third goalkeeper planned Darlow on loan to AFC Newport County . By the end of the season he played eight games in the fifth-rate Football Conference .
At the beginning of the 2012/13 season there was another loan move to third division club FC Walsall . After convincing performances in Football League One , the loan deal was extended by two more months on October 22, 2012.
On October 6, 2012, shortly before his 22nd birthday, Darlow signed a new three-year contract in Nottingham.
Newcastle United
On August 9, 2014 Darlow moved together with Jamaal Lascelles to the first division club Newcastle United . For the 2014/15 season , however, he and Lascelles were loaned back directly to Forest. He made his first appearance in the Premier League on December 28, 2015 against West Bromwich Albion .
