Kodiak is a city in the eastern part of the island of Kodiak in the US state of Alaska . It is the administrative seat of Kodiak Island Borough .

history

From 1792 to 1808 Kodiak was the seat of the main administration, until 1867 the second largest settlement in Russian America .
