The 2012/13 season was the 20th season of the French Ligue Nationale de Basket Pro A , the top division in the French men's basketball club . It was the 91st championship in French men's basketball and the 26th championship since the Ligue Nationale de Basket (LNB) was founded . The main round started on October 5, 2012 and ended on April 30, 2013 with the 30th and final game day. The play-off -Finalrunde for the championship lasted until June 8, 2013.
As defending champion, Élan Sportif Chalonnais started the season, which also competed in the ULEB Euroleague 2012/13 . In the 2012/13 Eurocup the league was represented by Cholet Basket , Orléans Loiret Basket and Le Mans Sarthe Basket .
Promoted to the 2012/13 season were Limoges CSP and Boulazac Basket Dordogne .
French champion was JSF Nanterre , who prevailed in the final series against Strasbourg IG with 3-1 wins.
