District Court of Kleve
The District Court of Kleve is a court of ordinary jurisdiction and one of six district courts in the district of the Düsseldorf Higher Regional Court . The district court of Kleve has existed under this name since 1820.

The seat of the court is Kleve in North Rhine-Westphalia . The judicial district has approximately 1,669 square kilometers the largest in the Higher Regional Court of Dusseldorf and the cities and towns includes Emmerich , Rees , money , Issum , Kerken , Kevelaer , Rheurdt , Straelen , Wachtendonk , Weeze , Hau , Goch , Kalkar , Kleve, Kranenburg , Uedem , Moers , Neukirchen-Vluyn , Alpen , Kamp-Lintfort , Rheinberg , Sonsbeck and Xanten .

The court is located in the Schloßberg 1 building. A foreign criminal chamber meets in the building of the Moers District Court at Haagstrasse 7 in Moers.

The Cleve district court has existed under this name since 1820. The French judicial organization continued to apply in the then Prussian Rhine Province . The Cologne Court of Appeal had the function of the Court of Appeal there . The courts subordinate to him were not called district courts , but regional courts.
