The women's long jump at the 1950 European Athletics Championships was held on August 24, 1950 in the Heysel Stadium in the Belgian capital, Brussels .

The European champion was Valentina Bogdanova from the USSR. She won ahead of Wilhelmina Lust from the Netherlands . Bronze went to Maire Österdahl from Finland .
