The village of Leka ( Greek Λέκα ( f. Sg. )) Is about 190 m above sea level in the west of the Greek island of Samos, about 3 km southwest of the center of Karlovasis .

The existence of Leka is first mentioned in documents from the end of the 16th century. The place name is of Albanian origin. The agricultural town has 412 inhabitants. It is mainly the cultivation of wine and olives. In the nearby hamlet of Agios Pandeleimon ( Άγιος Παντελεήμων ), renamed in 1940 by Tsourlei ( Τσουρλαιοι ) after his church, in 2001 only 7 inhabitants lived.

With the implementation of the municipality reform according to the Kapodistrias program in 1997, Leka was incorporated into the municipality of Karlovasia. The 2010 administrative reform brought the former municipalities of the island together to form the municipality of Samos . Since the correction of the administrative reform in 2019 in two municipalities, Leka has belonged to the municipality of Dytiki Samos .
