Lennardt Kruger
Lennardt Krüger (real name Hardy Krüger , born November 29, 1958 in Woltersdorf ; † June 3, 2020 in Brandenburg an der Havel ) was a German actor and voice actor .
Life
From 1980 to 1984, Krüger completed his acting training at the “Hans Otto” theater school in Leipzig , from which he graduated in 1984 with an acting diploma as a stage actor. In the first years of his career he mainly worked in theaters. He had permanent engagements at the Stralsund Theater , the Cottbus State Theater and the Münster City Theaters . He played on the stage, among others, the title role in Kleist's comedy Ampithryon , Stanley Kowalski in A Streetcar Named Desire and Goldberg in the play Goldberg Variations by George Tabori . Later he was freelance and worked as a dubbing and advertising spokesman (e.g. for DEVK ) and as a stage actor.
In the youth series Die Kinder vom Alstertal , Krüger had a continuous leading role as Uwe Clement between 1998 and 2003; he played the father of the children Hexe and Lisa.
Krüger also worked as a speaker for radio plays and audio books . In 2003 he took part in the original radio play Apeiron by Michael W. Esser, produced by Norddeutscher Rundfunk and Westdeutscher Rundfunk . At Oetinger Verlag he spoke, among other things, the short story The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry . He also spoke in the radio play series Maddrax - Der Gott aus dem Eis , which arose from the booklet novel series Maddrax from Bastei-Verlag . He also appeared in the radio plays Invasion of the Flies and In the Bann des Voodoo from the radio play series Die Drei ??? With.
Between 2002 and 2008 he had over 400 appearances as Craig and Graham in the play Ladies Night in Bremen , Cologne and Lübeck . In 2008 he was a guest at the Ernst-Deutsch-Theater . Directed by Volker Lechtenbrink , he played the role of John Weatherstone in the crime play The Winslow Case by Terence Rattigan . At the comedy Winterhuder Fährhaus he played in the German-language premiere of Florian Zeller's play Wenn Du tot would be in the 2009/10 season .
In 1991 he received the European Storytelling Award from the European Fairy Tale Society .
Since the 1990s he lived with his wife, the actress Simone Ritscher , in Berlin ; the couple have a son who works as a lawyer . Krüger suffered from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and therefore no longer worked as an actor. On June 4, 2020, Ritscher announced on her Facebook page that Krüger had died the day before as a result of his serious illness.
