Ligota Dolna ( German Nieder-Ellguth ) is a place of Gmina Kluczbork in the Opole Voivodeship in Poland .
geography
Ligota Dolna is located in the northwestern part of Upper Silesia in the Kreuzburger Land. Ligota Dolna is located around three kilometers west of the municipality of Kluczbork and around 48 kilometers northeast of the voivodeship capital Opole.
The village lies on the Stober . The Droga krajowa 42 road runs through it . The Kluczbork train station is to the east of the village . The Kluczbork – Wrocław railway line runs north of Ligota Dolna .
Neighboring places of Ligota Dolna are in the east the municipality seat Kluczbork ( Kreuzburg OS ), in the south Krasków ( Krakow ), in the west Stare Czaple ( Alt Tschapel ) and in the northwest Smardy Dolne ( Nieder Schmardt ).
history
In 1845 there was a Protestant school and 51 houses in the village. In the same year 386 people lived in Nieder-Ellguth, 29 of them Catholic. In 1861, 411 people lived in Nieder-Ellguth. In 1874 the Nieder-Ellguth district was founded.
In 1933 there were 963 people in Nieder-Ellguth, and in 1939 there were again 899 people. Until 1945 the village belonged to the Kreuzburg OS district
As a result of the Second World War, Nieder-Ellguth fell under Polish administration in 1945, like most of Silesia . The place was subsequently renamed Ligota Dolna and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950 it was incorporated into the Opole Voivodeship. In 1999 the place came to the newly founded Powiat Kluczborski ( Kreuzburg district ).
