The Lindenberg-Spießenberg nature reserve is located near Stühlingen in the Waldshut district . It has been designated as a nature reserve with the number 3.048 since 1954.

Protection purpose

The main protective purpose is the preservation and development of the orchid-rich coniferous forests on the plateau, which are characteristic of the natural area, the limestone beech forests on the slopes, the small clearings interspersed in the forests with fringe communities and as a habitat for a diverse flora and fauna with rare and endangered species. There is a stock of the very rare lady's slipper here .
