Eibenkopf is a nature reserve in the area of the Baden-Württemberg city of Waldshut .
Characteristics
The nature reserve was designated by ordinance of the Freiburg Regional Council of January 31, 1962 and has a size of around 0.9 hectares. It is listed under the protected area number 3.060. The CDDA code for the nature reserve is 81579 and corresponds to the WDPA ID .
Location and description
The Eibenkopf is located between Schmitzingen and Waldshut on a partial shell limestone slope around 300 meters east above the Seltenbach. It is the largest yew population in southern Baden. The Waldshut-Tiengen game reserve is nearby .
It is located in the natural area 120- Alb-Wutach area within the natural spatial main unit 12- Neckar- and Tauber-Gäuplatten and is part of the Southern Black Forest Nature Park .
