The Berghaus nature reserve is located in the hamlet of Berghaus in the Krenkingen district of Waldshut-Tiengen in the Waldshut district .
Characteristics
The nature reserve was designated by ordinance of the Freiburg Regional Council of January 31, 1962 and has a size of 1.4872 hectares. It is listed under the protected area number 3.062. The CDDA code for the nature reserve is 81385 and corresponds to the WDPA ID .
Location and description
The Berghaus nature reserve is located in the municipality of Waldshut-Tiengen in the Krenkingen district with a total size of around 1.5 hectares. The nature reserve consists of two sub-areas on a southern slope in Klettgau in the area of the Upper Muschelkalks. It is a pine grove surrounded by agricultural land with a layer of herbs rich in species.
Protection purpose
No essential protective purpose was anchored in the ordinance of 1962. The protection purpose of the nature reserve is now defined in Section 23 BNatSchG Paragraph 1 Nos. 1-3, whereby the reasons for designating a nature reserve are not limited to ecological or aesthetic aspects, but also extend to scientific, natural history and cultural aspects .
