It is a steep southern white Jura slope of the Küssaberges (629 m) below the Küssaburg near Bechtersbohl . It is loosely planted with orchid-rich beech forest and white clover- pine forest. In the area of ​​the neighboring town near Küßnach there is another small nature reserve, the Küßnach orchid meadow .
