List of Prime Ministers of Azerbaijan

The list of Prime Ministers of Azerbaijan begins in 1918, at the time of the independent Democratic Republic of Azerbaijan , and continues to this day. From 1920 to 1991 this office did not exist because Azerbaijan was part of the Soviet Union . In 1991, in the Azerbaijan SSR , the office was reinstated, but after the proclamation of the Republic of Azerbaijan it gained little political importance.
