List of Anton Günther memorial stones
Anton-Günther-memorials are in honor of the People's poet Anton Günther erected (1876-1937) monuments .
The first memorial stone was the one inaugurated on the occasion of Anton Günther's 60th birthday, on the market square in his birthplace God's gift ( Boží Dar in Czech ). Between 1937 and 1942 the Erzgebirgsverein erected a large number of memorial stones, many of which were removed on the Czech side after the expulsion of the German-Bohemian population , many of which were lost.

Except for the stone in Günther's birthplace, all of the following were erected after his death. The majority were rebuilt or rebuilt after 1990, primarily in the Ore Mountains and Vogtland, but also in other parts of Germany as well as in Austria and the Czech Republic.

The monument is the only one erected during Anton Günther's lifetime and was inaugurated on June 5, 1936. The city of Gottesgab honored its well-known citizen on his 60th birthday. After the expulsion of the German-Bohemian population at the end of World War II, it was destroyed in 1945.
After the political change, the Boží Dar municipal administration and the community of heirs agreed on the reconstruction in 1990, which was largely financed by the Schwarzenberg branch association of the Erzgebirge. On June 1, 1991, the memorial was inaugurated on the occasion of Anton Günther's 115th birthday. The bronze plaque attached to the stone is the original from 1936, which appeared again in 1990 and was considered lost after 1945. |

The stone was erected on the initiative of Bruno Rochlitzer (1910–2001), an honorary member of the Erzgebirgszweigverein Deutschneudorf, who, like Günther, came from the Bohemian Ore Mountains and was inaugurated on July 15, 1999. It is a station on the Glockenwanderweg .
It bears the inscription: Anton Günther 1876–1937, poet and singer of the Ore Mountains. |

The memorial stone was erected between 1937 and 1939 at an unspecified time. The bronze plaque attached to it was stolen in the late 1950s. In the local history it is noted that this was found again by chance, but disappeared again a short time later. In the meantime, a wooden plaque has been made as a substitute. In 1992 the original plaque was found again, of which the local history association made a duplicate and affixed it to the stone. | |

The seating group "Am Bucheneck" was set up with seats and stone steles in spring 1937 on the initiative of the local poet Erwin Schwarz. After Günther's suicide, the Reizenhain tourist office decided to expand the recently completed space to the Anton Günther monument. After the German-Bohemian population was driven out, the steles were overturned and the place fell into disrepair. On June 7, 2014, the volunteer-work restored square including the memorial stone was ceremonially inaugurated. | |

The Günther-Ruh memorial, donated by the Weipert entrepreneur Karl Walter Schmidl and consecrated on July 3, 1938, was destroyed in 1945 and was no longer found.
In 2010, a Bärenstein resident discovered the remains of the former memorial after years of searching. The newly founded Verein Denkmalpflege Weipert eV restored and refurbished the memorial stone and its surroundings in the following years; on July 3, 2013, Günther-Ruh was solemnly rededicated with the participation of 600 guests. |
