Lucerne wave plan
The Lucerne Wave Plan of 1933 was used to coordinate long and medium wave frequencies for broadcasting in Europe and the neighboring Mediterranean region. It is the result of an ITU conference that took place in Lucerne from May 15 to June 19, 1933 , and came into force on January 15, 1934, based on a frequency spacing of 9 kHz. The predecessor was the Prague wave plan from 1929, the successor to the Copenhagen wave plan from 1948 (the wave plan from Montreux 1939 did not come into force due to the war).
