Katrin Müller-Hohenstein (born August 2, 1965 in Erlangen ), also known by her stage name KMH , is a German television and former radio presenter . Since 2006 she has moderated the current sport studio on ZDF as well as some sporting events broadcast live.

Life

education

After graduating from the Emil-von-Behring-Gymnasium in Spardorf , Katrin Müller-Hohenstein, daughter of the biogeographer Klaus Müller-Hohenstein , began studying theater studies at the Friedrich-Alexander University in Erlangen , which she did not complete in favor of her media career .

Radio and television

In 1988 she began to present at the local radio station Radio Gong 97.1 in Nuremberg . From 1992 she worked as a presenter for the private Munich radio station Antenne Bayern (including the afternoon magazine Servus Bayern and Guten Morgen, Bayern ). In 2007, she joined the Bavarian Radio and moderated by September 2008 at the radio station Bayern 1 the shipment Bayern 1 in the morning .

She briefly came under criticism in social networks on the Internet after she had used a phrase that contained the phrase " inner Nazi party rally " in connection with a goal by Miroslav Klose against Kahn while reporting on the first group game of the German national team . Since the World Cup, she has hosted all of the German team's international matches broadcast on ZDF. At the European Football Championship 2012 she hosted together with Oliver Kahn from Heringsdorf from the island of Usedom, which is close to Poland .

She was married to the radio presenter Stefan Parrisius from 1996 to 2007. Their son was born in 1995. Müller-Hohenstein is a supporter of 1. FC Nürnberg and a member of FC Bayern Munich . She wears the brown judo belt and played guitar for ten years when she was young . In her spare time she plays tennis .
