Marc-André Dorion (born March 30, 1987 in St. Hubert , Québec ) is a Canadian ice hockey player who has been under contract with EHC Linz in the Austrian ice hockey league since August 2020 .
Career
Dorion began his career in 2003/04 at the d'Acadie-Bathurst Titan in the Canadian junior league Quebec Major Junior Hockey League before he during the current 2005/06 season within the league to the Baie-Comeau Drakkar changed . Between 2008 and 2012, he was on the ice for the McGill University college team in the CIS . There he won the University Cup in the 2011/12 season and, as in the 2009/10 season, was voted the best defender of the past season. In total, the Canadian scored 192 points in 174 games in the CIS, making him the best-scoring defender in the history of the McGill Redmen .
In April 2012 Dorion decided to move to Europe and joined the EHC Linz from the Austrian ice hockey league . In March 2014, his contract with the Black Wings was extended by two years until the end of the 2015/16 season.
In May 2018 Dorion signed a contract with Vienna Capitals until 2019 .
