Miss Europe 2016

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Miss Europe 2016, Diana Starkova. She represented France there.

The Miss Europe 2016 competition was the first to be organized by the Miss Europe Organization (MEO). It was initially based in London and moved to Edinburgh in 2017 .

The beauty competition was not held from 2007 to 2015. A continuity to the competitions of a previous organizer and to its winners is obviously intended to establish the crown that the winner receives. On the one hand, it is described in such detail on the website of the Miss Europe Organization , as if it were newly made. On the other hand, there is an indication that the Missen have already worn them from 2003.

The candidates had been selected in their countries of origin by national organizing committees that had concluded license agreements with MEO.

The event took place on March 12, 2016 in the Lebanese capital Beirut . The number of applicants is unknown.

criticism

The information on the website of the organizer about the competition is extremely poor. As usual, the names of the other candidates are not given, let alone the names and countries of origin of the other candidates. Not even the number of participants is mentioned.

After the competition, the website misseurope.info was switched off and went back online as misseurope.eu in autumn 2016 .
