Miss Europe 1993
The 1993 Miss Europe competition was the thirty-seventh since 1948 organized by the Mondial Events Organization (MEO). It was founded by the French Roger Zeiler and Claude Berr, was based in Paris and arranged the competition until 2002.
The candidates had been selected in their countries of origin by national organizing committees that had concluded license agreements with MEO. It does not always have to be the first place in your national competition.

The event took place on July 12, 1993 in the Turkish metropolis of Istanbul . There were 31 applicants.

A.Silvia Lakatošová was chosen as the last joint Miss for the Czech Republic and Slovakia after the dissolution of Czechoslovakia . She competed internationally for Slovakia.
B.The model Jana Rybská had participated as a Czech participant in the Miss České a Slovenské republiky and took 4th place. She was named Miss Morava in 1993 and 1st Vicemiss Czech Republic in 1993. She competed internationally for the Czech Republic. She was internationally successful as a model and worked for world-famous fashion brands such as Versace, La Perla, Rocco Barocco, Ferre, Armani and other companies.
