Miss Europe 1970
The Miss Europe 1970 competition was the twenty-second since 1948 organized by the Mondial Events Organization (MEO). It was founded by the French Roger Zeiler and Claude Berr, was based in Paris and organized the competition until 2002.
The candidates had been selected in their countries of origin by national organizing committees that had concluded license agreements with MEO.
The event took place on September 15, 1970 in the Greek port city of Piraeus , in the metropolitan area of the capital Athens . There were 20 applicants.

Competition of the "Comité Officiel et International Miss Europe"
Since 1951 there has been a rival European competition organized by the Comité Officiel et International Miss Europe . This was founded in 1950 by Jean Raibaut in Paris , who later relocated to Marseille . The winners wore different titles such as Miss Europe , Miss Europe or Miss Europe International .
It took place in June 1970 in Nice in the south of France . Apart from the name of the winner, nothing is known about it:
