The competition for Miss Europe 1965 was the seventeenth held by the Mondial Events Organization (MEO). It was founded by the French Roger Zeiler and Claude Berr, was based in Paris and organized the competition until 2002.

The candidates had been selected in their countries of origin by national organizing committees that had concluded license agreements with MEO.

The event took place on June 6, 1965 in the Palais de la Mediterranée in Nice in the south of France . There were 18 applicants.
