Miss Europe 1956

The Miss Europe 1956 competition was the eighth organized by the Mondial Events Organization (MEO). It was founded by the French Roger Zeiler and Claude Berr, was based in Paris and organized the competition until 2002.

The candidates had been selected in their countries of origin by national organizing committees that had concluded license agreements with MEO.

The event took place on June 1, 1956 in the Swedish capital Stockholm . There were 13 applicants.
