Miss Europe 1953 - Eloisa Cianni.

The 1953 Miss Europe competition was the fifth organized by the Mondial Events Organization (MEO). It was founded by the French Roger Zeiler and Claude Berr, was based in Paris and organized the competition until 2002.

The candidates had been selected in their countries of origin by national organizing committees that had concluded license agreements with MEO.

The event took place on September 9, 1953 in Istanbul , Turkey. As in the previous year, there were 13 applicants.
