Miss Europe 2003
The Miss Europe 2003 competition was the first to be held by Endemol , an international television production and development company based in the Netherlands. Endemol acquired the license in 2002 from the Mondial Events Organization (MEO), which arranged the competition from 1948 to 2002. Endemol France also produced the television broadcast.
The candidates had been selected in their countries of origin by national organizing committees that had concluded license agreements with Endemol. It does not always have to be the first place in your national competition.
The event took place on September 12, 2003 at Disneyland Paris in the municipality of Chessy , 32 km east of the French capital Paris . There were 35 applicants.
In the following year, the choice of Miss Europe was canceled.
