Miss Europe 2001
The Miss Europe 2001 competition was the forty-third since 1948 organized by the Mondial Events Organization (MEO). (Several events were canceled). The organization was founded by the French Roger Zeiler and Claude Berr, was based in Paris and held the competition until 2002.
The candidates had been selected in their countries of origin by national organizing committees that had concluded license agreements with MEO. It does not always have to be the first place in your national competition.
The event took place on December 29, 2001 at the Beirut International Exhibition & Leisure Center in the Lebanese capital Beirut . There were 33 applicants.
