Miss Europe 1948
The Miss Europe 1948 competition was the first to be organized by the Mondial Events Organization (MEO). This was founded by the French Roger Zeiler and Claude Berr, was based in Paris and organized the competition until 2002.
The candidates had been selected in their countries of origin by national organizing committees that had concluded license agreements with MEO.
The event took place on June 6, 1948 in the casino of the thermal baths of Enghien-les-Bains in northern France . There were 12 applicants.
