Myszadło ( German Storchwiese ) is a small place in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and belongs to the Gmina Świętajno (rural community Schwentainen , 1938 to 1945 Altkirchen (Eastern Pr.) ) In the powiat Szczycieński ( Ortelsburg district ).
Geographical location
Myszadło is located in the southern center of the Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship , 20 kilometers east of the district town of Szczytno ( German Ortelsburg ).
history
The small town called Miszadlo before 1820, Myssadlo around 1820 and Storchwiese after 1822 was the settlement of a forestry that belonged to the Langenwalde State Forest ( Polish: Długi Borek ). As such, the place was a residential area within the municipality of Langenwalde - which was called Dlugiborrek until 1829 - in the East Prussian district of Ortelsburg .
As a result of the war, all of southern East Prussia and with it Stochwiese came to Poland in 1945 . The small forest village was given the Polish name form "Myszadło" and is today as a " forest settlement " (Polish Osada leśna ) a place within the Gmina Świętajno (rural community Schwentainen , 1938 to 1945 Altkirchen (Eastern Pr.) ) In the powiat Szczycieński ( Ortelsburg district ), to 1998 Olsztyn Voivodeship , since then part of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship .

Through the parent community of Langenwalde , Storchwiese was parish up to 1945 in the Evangelical Church Friedrichshof (Polish: Rozogi ) in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union and in the Roman Catholic Church of Liebenberg (Polish: clone ) in the Diocese of Warmia .
Today Myszadło belongs Catholic side of St. Andrew Bobola Church Świętajno (Schwentainen / Altkirchen () Ostpr. With) filial community Kolonia (green forest) in the current Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Warmia , also a Protestant to church Szczytno (Szczytno) in the Diocese Mazury the Evangelical Augsburg Church in Poland .

Myszadło is located on a side road that connects the national road 59 near Spychowo (Puppen) with Kolonia and continues to Świętajno . Kolonia is the nearest train station and is on the Olsztyn – Ełk ( German Allenstein – Lyck ) railway line .
