history
The village was founded under German law in the middle of the 13th century.
After the First Silesian War in 1742, Mauschwitz and most of Silesia fell to Prussia .
After the reorganization of the province of Silesia , the rural community of Mauschwitz belonged to the district of Falkenberg OS in the administrative district of Opole from 1816 . In 1845 there was a mill and 37 houses in the village. In the same year 250 people lived in Mauschwitz, two of them Protestants. Among the villagers were a Kretschmer, a shoemaker and two traders. In 1861, 277 people lived in Mauschwitz. In 1865 the village had 25 gardeners and seven cottagers. In 1874 the district of Nüßdorf was founded, which consisted of Bauschwitz, Ferdinandshof, Korpitz, Lammsdorf, Mauschwitz and Nüßdorf and the manor districts of Bauschwitz, Ferdinandshof, Lammsdorf, Mauschwitz and Nüßdorf. In 1885 Mauschwitz had 210 inhabitants.
Around 1930 the district was renamed Mauschwitz . In 1933 Mauschwitz had 212 inhabitants. On July 28, 1936, the place name was changed to Mauschdorf . In 1939 there were 241 people in Mauschdorf. Until 1945 the place was in the district of Falkenberg OS
As a result of the Second World War, Mauschdorf, like most of Silesia, came under Polish administration in 1945 . Subsequently, the place was renamed Myszowice and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1946 the German population was expelled. In 1950 it was incorporated into the Opole Voivodeship. In 1999 the place came to the newly founded Powiat Nyski ( Neisse district ).
