NGC 2570 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sab in the constellation Cancer on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 290 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 95,000 light-years across.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 2560 , NGC 2562 , NGC 2563 , NGC 2569 .
The object was discovered by Ralph Copeland on February 20, 1873 .
