NGC 3035 is a bar-spiral galaxy with an active galaxy core of the Hubble type SBbc in the constellation Sextant in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 187 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 95,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies IC 574 and IC 575 .
The object was discovered by Édouard Stephan on March 5, 1880 .
