NGC 5832 is a barred spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SB (rs) b? in the constellation Little Bear in the northern sky , which is about 27 million light years away from the Milky Way .
The object was discovered on March 16, 1785 by the German-British astronomer Wilhelm Herschel .
