NGC 5837 is a 13.7 like light beam spiral radio galaxy from the Hubble type SB (s) b in the constellation Bootes north of the celestial equator , an estimated 387 million light-years from the Milky Way 's center.
The object was discovered by Lewis A. Swift on June 19, 1887 .
