NGC 6184 is a 14.3 mag bright spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sb in the constellation Hercules. It is around 378 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 90,000 light years .
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 6173 , NGC 6175 , NGC 6180 .
The object was discovered on June 23, 1876 by Édouard Stephan .
