National Register of Historic Places in Washington, State

The National Register of Historic Places in Washington is part of the national preservation program of the United States with over 90,000 registered buildings, structures, objects, sites and historical districts. In the state of Washington there are around 1500 entries in the National Register.

Remarks

  1. The census is based on entries in the National Register Information System database as of April 24, 2008 and weekly updates based on the notices posted on the National Register of Historic Places website. Due to the numerous new entries and the occasional deletions, the figures are approximate and not official. New entries are added to the National Register on Fridays every week. Changes in the boundaries of historic districts are not taken into account in the count, although such enlargements or reductions are given their own registration number in the National Register.
