According to the 2000 census , the county had a population of 92,948. There were 35,850 households and 25,059 families. The population density was 32 inhabitants per square kilometer. The racial the population was composed of 91.80% White, 0.52% African American, 1.52% Native American, 1.30% Asian, 0.13% Pacific Islander, and 2.11% other races Groups; 2.62% were from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race was 4.55% of the population.
Of the 35,850 households, 32.80% had children and adolescents under the age of 18 living with them. 54.60% were married couples living together, 10.70% were single mothers. 30.10% were not families. 24.30% are single households and 9.70% have someone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.55 and the average family size was 3.01.
For the entire county, the population was composed of 26.80% of residents under 18 years of age, 8.30% between 18 and 24 years of age, 27.50% between 25 and 44 years of age, 24.10% between 45 and 64 years of age 13.30% were 65 years of age or over. The median age was 37 years. For every 100 females there were 98.20 males, and for every 100 females aged 18 and over there were 95.80 males.
The median income for a household in the 39,797 USD , and the median income for a family was 46,532 USD. Males had a median income of $ 40,378 versus $ 25,710 for females.
