Nordic World Ski Championships 1941 / Cross-country skiing men
At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1941 in Cortina d'Ampezzo in the Italian province of Belluno , three competitions were held in cross-country skiing .
In the competition over the distance of 18 km the Swede Alfred Dahlqvist won , in the endurance run over 50 km the Finn Juho Kurikkala and in the relay competition for the first time the team of Finland .

Result The competition was held on Wednesday, February 5th, 1941. Of the 96 named athletes, 84 appeared at the start.

This cross-country skiing competition was also part of this competition for the participants in the Nordic combined. The placement of the combination participants Delfo Ramella Paia (Italy), Elemir Nemesszeghy (Slovakia) and two others is not known. Among the runners who did not finish the race there were probably four Slovaks who were not known by name.

Result The endurance run took place on Saturday, February 8, 1941.
Lt. Report from “Sport Zürich” had named 45 runners, 31 had started and ten had given up.
The Swede Mauritz Brännström , originally placed second with a running time of 3: 38: 17.0, did not appear at a checkpoint and was therefore subsequently removed from the ranking on February 9th. However, he was later put back into the classification as Gustav Berauer and Vincenzo Demetz confirmed that he had passed the checkpoint.
