Nowy Zyzdrój ( German  Neu Sysdroy , 1938 to 1945 Neusixdroi ) is a small village in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and belongs to the rural community Piecki (whip village ) in the powiat Mrągowski ( Sensburg district ).

Geographical location

Nowy Zyzdrój is located on the eastern shore of the Great Sysdroy Lake (1938 to 1945 Great Sixdroi Lake , in Polish Jezioro Zyzdrój Wielki ) in the southern center of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship , 24 kilometers south of the district town of Mrągowo ( German  Sensburg ).

history

The former Neu Sysdroy was founded in 1838 and mentioned in 1839 as a hereditary interest village with two fireplaces with eleven residents. Until 1945 the place was a place of residence in the rural community Pruschinowenwolka (1938 to 1945 Prussia place , Polish Wólka Prusinowska ) in the district of Sensburg and in 1905 already had 115 inhabitants. On June 3 (officially confirmed on 16 July) 1938 New Sysdroy was foreign-sounding place names in "Neusixdroi" for political and ideological reasons of defense renamed .

1945 Southern came Prussia in consequence of the war to Poland . This also affected Neusixdroi, which received the Polish form of the name "Nowy Zyzdrój". In 2011, the village had ten people and is now a town in the rural community composite Piecki (whip village) in mrągowo county (Kreis Sensburg ) until 1998, the Olsztyn province , since the Warmia and Mazury belong.

Until 1945 Neu Sysdroy resp.
