Mostek ( German Kleinbrück ) is a small town in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and belongs to the rural community Piecki ( German Peitschendorf ) in the Powiat Mrągowski ( Sensburg district ).
Geographical location
The hamlet ( Polish Osada ) Mostek is located in the southern center of the Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship , 15 kilometers southeast of the district town of Mrągowo (German Sensburg ).
history
The place called Klein Brück at the time was founded in 1823 as a hereditary lease and originally consisted of only two farms. Until 1945 it was a residential area within the municipality of Kleinort ( Piersławek in Polish ) in the Sensburg district in the Prussian province of East Prussia .
When all of southern East Prussia was transferred to Poland in 1945 as a result of the war , Kleinbrück was also affected. It received the Polish name form "Mostek" and is now a place in the immediate vicinity (Polish Częśź wsi ) of the village Piecki (whip village ) and a place within the rural community of the same name in Powiat Mrągowski ( Sensburg district ).

Until 1934, Kleinbrück belonged to the Protestant Church of Aweyden , then to Peitschendorf in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union , and also to the Catholic St. Adalbert Church in Sensburg in what was then the Diocese of Warmia .
Today Mostek is parish in the evangelical parish Nawiady , a branch parish of the parish Mrągowo in the diocese Masuria of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland , at the same time in the catholic parish Nawiady in the current Archdiocese of Warmia in the Polish Catholic Church .
