Zielony Lasek ( German Grünheide ) is a small town in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and belongs to the rural community Piecki ( German Peitschendorf ) in the Powiat Mrągowski ( Sensburg district ).
Geographical location
Zielony Lasek is located on the Kruttinna ( Polish Krutynia ) in the southern center of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, 23 kilometers southeast of the district town of Mrągowo ( German Sensburg ).
history
The small town of Grünheide was mentioned in 1785 as a royal paper mill with a fireplace , then in 1839 as a leasehold mill with a fireplace . In 1874 the place was incorporated into the district of Kruttinnen (also: Cruttinnen , Polish Krutyń ) in the Sensburg district in the Prussian province of East Prussia . On September 30, 1928, he was integrated into the neighboring community of Kruttinnerofen (also: Cruttinnerofen , in Polish Krutyński Piecek ).
When the whole of southern East Prussia was transferred to Poland as a result of the war in 1945 , Grünheide was also affected. Until 1945 Grünheide was parish in the Protestant Church of Alt Ukta in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union and in the Catholic Church of St. Adalbert in Sensburg in the then diocese of Warmia .
Today Zielony Lasek belongs to the Protestant parish of Ukta , a branch of the parish Mikołajki in the Masuria diocese of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland , and also to the Catholic parish of Ukta in the current Archdiocese of Warmia in the Polish Catholic Church .
Sports
Due to its location on the Krutynia (Kruttinna), Zielony Lasek is a destination for canoeists , as the river offers almost one hundred kilometers of canoeing routes.
